The Irish Society of North Alabama does not endorse any of the following links but only provides them as a resource.  The intent of this page is to provide the links for bands/musicians, dance, pubs, and irish/irish-american owned businesses in North Alabama.  If there are some missing, please click on "contact us" above and let us know -- we want to be sure to include them to promote all those embracing the Irish Culture and Arts in North Alabama:
Predominantly Irish, with a few folk tunes, all played with a decidedly southern flavor. We prefer to play the Irish Sea Shanties and many of the old style drinking songs.

A powerful competitive force, taking the top prize in sanctioned Grade 5 pipe band competition at the Gatlinburg Scottish Festival & Games in May 2010.  As of December 7, 2010, ISPMB has been upgraded to Grade 4 for the 2011 contest season.  The Ian Sturrock Memorial Pipe Band is currently sponsored by GUINNESSĀ®, the St Andrews Society of the Middle South, and the Caledonian Society of Alabama.
