Irish Society of North Alabama
Promoting the Irish Culture in Northern Alabama through Education, Dance, Music, and the Arts
Welcome to the Irish Society of North Alabama!  This society is the result of a few people from North Alabama, with a keen interest in promoting and protecting Irish heritage, talking at the Maggie McGuinness Pub about BRAC, job growth, and that more and more Irish enthusiasts seem to be bumping into one another.....and, that North Alabama would be well served by an Irish Society.

With that in mind, the small group started to organize and formed the Irish Society of North Alabama (ISNA) in June 2010.  ISNA is a nonprofit organization with the following mission:  Promoting the Irish Culture in Northern Alabama through Education, Dance, Music, and the Arts.

As of November 2010, ISNA is an official 501(C)(3) non-profit!  And, yes, with that status, your membership dues are tax deductible.
